About Me
Hi, I’m Tammy, and my down to earth nature and easy-going approach allow me to create a friendly, warm, and welcoming counselling environment where clients feel heard and understood.
I bring experience and a deep commitment to supporting individuals from all backgrounds and across all age groups, from children and adolescents through to older adults.
I am a registered counsellor with a Masters in Counselling from the University of Canberra. As a member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), I uphold the highest ethical and professional standards, ensuring a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings.
My passion for counselling has evolved through my life experiences including navigating motherhood, neurodiversity, friendships, health and a career change. This lived experience gives me a unique perspective and empathetic understanding of the challenges people encounter when changes in life take you by surprise or are harder than you expect.
Through using a variety of therapeutic modalities, I focus on tailoring each session to everyone’s unique needs and preferences. My aim is to provide the tools and support you need to reach greater self-awareness, meaningful connections, and a refreshed sense of well-being.
Whether you're looking to overcome obstacles or simply need someone to talk to, I am here to support you on your journey.
